三个人中擅长前场球的队员可以根据形势，在前场做出左右移动。后场擅长杀球的队员，同样可以根据形势在后场做出左右移动。中间队员则要根据场上的形势及时补位；
注意：避免碰撞；
对于业余选手来说，因为技术水平有限，在场地内增加一个人，相互间的碰撞会增加。因此，三个人在打球的过程中一定要在及时补位的同时注意避让，相互间要保持一定的空间，避免球拍打到自己队友身上。另外，处于网前的队员要眼睛朝前看，不要回头张望，否则很容易被后场杀球的同伴打到眼睛。
